Books I’ve Read in January 2020
I think I started January quite strong, but then life took over and I had to dedicate more time to studying for my new software development course and training for pole. But I really enjoyed what I read this month, with one exception. This month has been good to me not only reading wise, but also generic life wise haha. Lots of hanging out with friends, fun little outings, good memories and so on. I’m excited to see what I read in February! I don’t like planning out what I’m going to read next, usually just pick up whatever is available or whatever genre I feel like reading.

Favourite Book of the Month
I absolutely loved “The Binding”! It was such an ingenious story that was told masterfully. I’ve been recommending this book to everyone because honestly it’s just something different. I’ve also written a review about it! Link is just a bit higher up in the post.
Books Bought/Received This Month
Once again, I’m very proud of myself as I didn’t buy a single book this month! Sometimes I wonder if I prefer buying books and finding bargains to actually reading them, you know. There’s so little space in the flat anyway. The books I own at the moment don’t fit into the bookshelf or on top of it, so they’ve migrated onto a couch that we use for storage. I think it’s time I up my reading speed and start taking some books back to charity shops.
I think January was pretty good reading wise and I’m looking forward to what I’m going to read this month. Currently, I’m enjoying “Americanah” by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.
What are you guys reading at the moment? What was your favourite book that you read in January? Let me know in the comments!
